CEO & Founder
CHORDination, founded by John Jaqua in 1984, is designed to provide music lessons, music educational materials, instruments, and performing opportunities for students. Experienced instructors teach piano, guitar, drums, singing and composition lessons to students at different levels including beginning to advanced for both adults and children. Additionally, lessons may be for some who may be preparing to study music in college or a career in music. Lessons are taught in the student's home. CHORDination administers the program so teachers can focus primarily on teaching. This enables students to learn the art of playing a musical instrument in an enriched and supportive environment.
In the comfort of your home.
Studio lessons are available for students of John Jaqua. All other lessons are taught in the home.
We currently offer piano, keyboard, drums, percussion, guitar (acoustic, electric and bass), and singing lessons.
You receive an invoice via e-mail each term. This invoice will have a link to online bill pay if that is your preference. For an additional administrative fee you have the option of paying monthly. At this time we do not accept credit cards.
Call Kim at 503-896-2890 or email chordination.office@gmail.com. She will discuss prices and availability of teachers to insure best fit. You will be referred to a teacher with space available in your location who will call you to set up a 15-20 minute interview in your home. This will give you the opportunity to see if personalities and styles are a match. At that time you will be given a registration form and brochure that explains our policies. These can also be found on our website. The registration form and initial payment must be received by CHORDination before the start of lessons. Click here for printable form.
